The College Campus

Board Threads Posts Last Post
No New Posts The Classes

Stamford's wide array of classes are organized throughout the various buildings on the campus according to their type of education. There are eight buildings in all, each fairly large in size and modernized with only the finest furniture and technology. That said there are cameras everywhere and vandalism is not treated lightly. Still some rebellious students manage to sneak past Big Brother and into empty class rooms to do whatever suits their fancy.

No New Posts The Caferteria

What is a college without it's own place to feed those kids without wheels? Along with the popular fast food venues there is also a bakery located in this large building. There are many tables and cushioned chairs here located right near the college gift shop. Televisions also hang from the ceiling, but they generally only display the weather or CNN.

No New Posts The Music Box

Looking for G-Unit or Fall Out Boy? Best go to the mall then, you won't find them here. Located next to Mainstreet Tattoos and Piercings, this place is basically just a big box with a basement holding many obscure bands and record labels. In the basement is a large collection of viny, magazines, and well.. rather promiscuous stuff whether you're straight or not

No New Posts Reed's Bar

Who exactly is Reed? Well... we don't know but his bar serves pretty good drinks. If your too rugged to go to a nightclub for a drink Reed's Bar is the next best thing. With dim lights and five pool tables this could be a perfect date spot, depending on your date though. Just be sure not to cause a fight or you could find yourself behind some big iron bars instead of Reed's Bar.

No New Posts Tonic

Located on the outskirts of the city due to its promiscuous nature, Tonic is notorious for its beautiful strippers. This night club is popular to anyone over eighteen{and the kids that can get away with it.} Its a ritzy-looking place, including a huge stage, bar, and a few VIP rooms for those Extra Special guests.

No New Posts Cahngrove Park

Nothing like a little R&R. A little Birds and Bees! Cahngrove Park is a wonderful park full of benches for sitting and relaxing. Or it offers plenty of picnic benches for you and your family to eat at. A trail goes through the center of the park and continues into some wooded areas. This trail, along with the rest of the park, is animal friendly. Perfect for walking your best friend, or riding your bike. No motorized vehicles though! Besides from the sitting and eating areas and the trail, Cahngrove Park offers an open field perfect for passing the pig skin around or playing some badminton!

No New Posts Graveyard

Some people think graveyards are creepy. Others find them peaceful and relaxing. Whatever you think this is the place to go if you prefer to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, and don't mind the thought of being around the dead. The trails are made of slightly cracked pavement and at the far end of the cemetery there is a quiet lake and some walking trails.

No New Posts Lyric Lake

Not to far from the actual city, less than a mile, is a large lake. It is a popular boating spot you can be sure to see numerous boats out on the water during the summer. The lake also has a few picnic areas and a small swimming area with buoys making sure people don't go out too far that they may get hit by a boat or jet ski. A ways down from the swimming area are some docks where people speed off in their boats but where a few people fish, preferring not to get muddy by fishing off the shore.

No New Posts The Woods

Not too far from the lake is a small forest, one of the few woodlands left in the area. There are five different walking paths, organized by hiking difficulty. Almost half lead to the cities own cemetery. Lots of animals make their home here so its not uncommon to see deer at times. There are also, like the lake, picnic areas throughout the trails as well as bathrooms for when nature calls.
