Sarah was bored. She was fed up with looking for a decent job, one that would pay her enough to keep on living in the small dirty flat she had right now. She couldn't find anything that she had qualifications for, although she supposed that was why there was a college. To learn. Sarah had always been a grad A student in school, yet after she left she had never been able to up her qualifications, they just sat as they were in her brain, not wanting to learn anything else. So now here she was, waiting in a line for a cappuccino in Starbucks coffee. She had never understood her love for that drink, but it was something she enjoyed and something she would never give up ... even if it meant getting a job.
Pulling herself back into the world by unplugging herself from her MP3 player, Sarah looked around herself at all the faces. Ranging from young to old. She had always understood about life and death as a child, but now that Sarah was grown up she couldn't quite grasp the concept of it. You would live and learn and hurt and love and yet when it came to death things would just end, your life would be no more. At least thats what Sarah believed. Not many people liked the fact she was an Atheist, but she didn't care. She believed what she wanted to, and everyone else, in her books could screw themselves.
Yawning, Sarah stepped up to the counter and smiled at the person standing there. "Hi can i get a cappuccino please?" She asked, not really bothering about getting out the right change, all she wanted was her Caffeine fix so she could go and attempt to tidy the bomb-site she called a home.
